Building on the success of a theatrical approach and the visual and musical integration of the 1998 production, Music City Mystique returns to form in 1999 with “From Dawn To Dusk: The Serengeti.”  With music and costuming inspired by the hit Broadway musical, “The Lion King,” Mystique strives to push the boundaries of movement and performance in indoor percussion by creating four distinct styles of animal movement represented in each section of the marching battery, while delivering the same exciting music and performance for which Mystique is known.  The result is a transformative production not only for Mystique, but also for the activity as a whole.
