McM Announces Caption Heads and Staff Additions for 2016


NASHVILLE, TN (August 19, 2015) – Today, Music City Mystique announced two new caption heads for the upcoming 2016 season. Staff members Ben Lupton and Angelo Outlaw, Jr. will move to Battery Caption Head and Front Ensemble Caption Head, respectively. In addition, Logan Gott, Jonathan Beavers, Jeffrey Meloen and Alex Rosas will be joining the battery staff, along with the return of veteran staff member Jack Borland.

Ben Lupton is very excited to step up as Battery Caption Head with Music City Mystique this upcoming 2016 season. Mystique has molded Ben into the man he is today—his love and devotion to the ensemble is ingrained deep in his spirit. He was a member of MCM’s quad line from 2009-2011 and joined the staff in 2012. Ben currently teaches music throughout Middle Tennessee in addition to his active role with MCM Productions. Ben wholeheartedly commits his knowledge, essence, and energy to the greatest ensemble in the activity… MCM.

Angelo Outlaw, Jr. (Jello) was a member of Music City Mystique’s front ensemble from 2008-2012, serving as the section leader during the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Since 2013, Angelo has been an active member of the teaching staff at Music City Mystique. He is honored and excited to be continuing his journey with Mystique as the Front Ensemble Caption Head for the 2016 season. The impact this organization has had on Jello’s life is immeasurable. His passion and love for MCM has become a part of his core being and has played a huge part in his development as a musician, as well as his personal spiritual journey. Throughout his tenure, Mystique has exposed Angelo to a vast amount of knowledge and alluring energy, he is absolutely ecstatic to pass it on to his fellow brothers and sisters of Music City Mystique.

Logan Gott and Jonathan Beavers both marched in Music City Mystique’s bassline from 2012-2015 and will be joining the battery instructional staff. Jeffrey Meloen, who was a member of Mystique’s snareline from 2012-2015, will be joining the staff as a snare tech. Alex Rosas will also be joining the staff as a cymbal tech after his marching career with CMCM from 2012-2015 . In addition, Jack Borland will be returning to the ensemble as a cymbal tech after a brief hiatus.
